Clarence C. Larson
Apr 20, 2018Larson, age 83, of Monona, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018.He was born on March 7, 1935, in Beloit, the son of Irving and Bina (Bartow) Larson. Clarence served in the U.S Army; he married the love of his life, Grace Stella, at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Beloit on Sept. 9, 1961. They were married for 56 happy years.Clarence worked as a sheet metal journeyman for over 50 years. He loved traveling and with his family he visited all 48 of the contiguous United States in their camper trailers. Clarence's family loved camping and he belonged to the Hi-Way Loafers camping club where they made many lifelong friends. He tended a beautiful garden where he grew flowers and trees and especially cherished his red roses.Clarence was a wonderful "Mr. Fix it", and could repair anything around the house.Clarence is survived by his wife, Grace; three daughters, Laurie Larson, Vickie (David) Pagenkopf, and Tracie Larson; and three grandchildren, Kari Pagenkopf, Erik Pagenkopf, and Gabreanna Davig. He was preceded in death by his parents.Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr, Madison, at 12 Noon, on Friday April 27, 2018. Entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral Home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday. (Channel3000.com - WISC-TV3)
